Osmosys® was formed in February 2004 by Dr Vasanthi as its Founder, Director and Principal Associate. Sarawathi Srinvasan has been with Osmosys® since the day of its inception as its Lead Associate. Through Osmosys® we aspire to nurture the creative zeal and passion for teaching that exists in many persons who have been teachers and who, for some reason wish to work in non structured environments in self paced areas of work- be it in development of leaning products, training materials or in teacher training.
The Osmosys® team continues to grow and find expression and fruition to its many years of interest and work in the field of education.

Dr Vasanthi Vasudev is an educationist of long standing repute. Spanning a long career of over 30 years in India and overseas, Dr Vasanthi has acquired multi-dimensional experience in:

Propelled by a desire to expand her horizons and reach out to larger sections of society, she joined a network learning company called IL&FS Education & Technology Service Ltd, where she worked as a Senior Pedagogy Resource. During her stint here, Vasanthi designed distance learning projects and worked on developing the company’s educational consultancy services portfolio.

In 2004, Vasanthi started Osmosys®, a learning company, that has since then grown from strength to strength serving the cause of educators and education.

As a Learning specialist, her area of action research has been Brain Based Learning and she has developed many new–generation products for optimizing brain potential for both children and adults.

Vasanthi is also a Registered QMS Auditor and long with her team members has been working as a Quality Consultant with educational institutions, to develop Academic Quality Management Systems leading to ISO 9001-2000 Certification.

Ms. Saraswathi Srinivasan is an educationist with over a 20 years experience in the field of education first as a teacher and then as an education consultant.

She began her career at Vidya Mandir, one of the foremost CBSE Schools in Chennai where she taught English, History and Sociology to the senior school. She also has experience as Center Co-coordinator for CBSE X and XII Examinations and as Examiner for English CBSE X Examinations.

Driven by a growing interest in pedagogy and the need to bring fresh perspectives to the teaching – learning environment she joined IL&FS Education and Technology Services as Manager-Education Services. Her work involved helping educational institutions to bring about integration of technology into the classrooms and empowering the teachers of today with the skills and attitudes necessary to impart to the students core 21st century competencies and the creation of new connective capacities consistent with the emerging global contexts.

In 2004 she joined Dr. Vasanthi Vasudev at Osmosys® as Education Consultant and Senior Associate and has been an integral part of its services since its inception. With an abiding interest in human psychology, brain based and learner centric teaching learning systems, her areas of specialization include Professional Development for teachers, Learning Products development, Pedagogic Research & Curriculum Development, Whole Brain Development and Multiple Intelligences, Student Profiling and Counselling, and assistance in Institutional design and development.

Sumitha Raghavan, is an English language and communication trainer, early-childhood education specialist and special educator with over 18 years of work experience. Starting her career as a pre-primary teacher she has also worked with an editorial agency, specializing in corporate newsletters and journals. Passionate about teaching and training, she has worked extensively with expatriates, corporates, teachers and students providing customized programmes in Communicative English and language learning.

As a special needs educator, she has empowered learners with strong communication, cognitive and life skills using methodologies such as ‘Verbal Behaviour Analysis’ and ‘Creative Movement’. She has keen interest in enrichment programmes for developing phonemic awareness, reading and creative writing skills in children. She has also trained them for their Cambridge ESOL examinations.

Sumitha has done book reviews for the Indian Review of Books, published articles and developed resource material for publishers, schools and colleges. She has been involved in teacher resource material development for Pearson Longman India and is presently a Training Resource for Pearson.

A graduate in Home Science, with a double degree in Education with specialization in English, Social Studies and Science, Beena Malhotra has 18 years of experience in the field of education first as a teacher then as a teacher trainer.

Her stints at Amity International School and the Academy for Personalized Learning, Chennai, have given her exposure to both national and international curriculum. Beena’s expertise lies in pre-primary and primary curriculum development and training teachers in learner centric methodologies.

A keen advocate of Multiple Intelligence, activity based, brain based learning and teaching, she strongly believes that a child’s education is incomplete without the holistic development.

She has extensive experience in training the teachers, especially using the blended model (interactive onsite classrooms and virtual classrooms).

Beena has been involved in developing content for both English and Social studies texts as a freelancer and has also assisted in the development of the Teachers Manual on CCE Assessment for a well known publisher.

Mala, an M.Sc, M.Phil in Botany, has been in the field of education for more than a decade. She is presently doing her doctorate in Botany. Mala has a deep and abiding passion towards teaching and has worked with great keenness to create innovative and interesting learning experiences for children across grades in subjects like biology, chemistry, environmental science and food studies. She has wide teaching experience having taught students across all grades in both national and international boards.

As the programme leader for the Cambridge International Diploma she also has experience in training teachers for an international curriculum. Mala has also been the in- house training and curriculum resource at APL Global School, where she was in charge of monitoring the quality of lesson plans, assessment papers, activity sheets, worksheets, etc.
