My Career Vision
"Making Working Life Fun"

A Career Visioning programme for Senior Students

Careers need not be

an accident!!

They can be

a careful choice.

They can be dreams that come true!!

     The Challenge -

A career without creativity, challenge, joy and work becomes a chore, a duty to be done.

  • Career planning in the current context of competitive and global professions
  • Career choices made more difficult today.
  • Numerous new alternative careers to choose from
  • Career definitions are more fluid and changing

Concept of "Job for a life time" does not exist any more.

Professionals today can chose to change careers during their working lives

Making the Right Choice -

  • How do students often choose their Careers?
  • Students are often undecided about their prospective careers.
  • Few students select their life's work based on what they're passionate about or what they are best at.
  • They perceive large financial rewards as good job prospects.
  • Students are often guided by parental/peer pressure- someone else's wishes.

How does "My Career Vision" work?

My Career Vision" is a unique 3- step Career-Planning Programme.
It combines the elements of Group counseling

  1. Psychological testing
  2. A one-to-one counseling in which a senior counselor helps students to come up with an action plan of at least 5 career choices.
  3. Counseling Report that summarizes all the findings of the tests and the one - to - one session.
