Osmosys™ is a pioneering venture in the field of Education and it is committed to providing an entire range of services in the field of Education, Learning, Quality and Career Counseling.

Osmosys™ is a Company that is engaged in developing Learning Products and delivering Services in the area of Learning.

Its specialty is developing Learning Products for children, youngsters and adults, which are contextualized to the Indian culture and mindset.

Osmosys is the brain child of Dr Vasanthi Vasudev and through Osmosys ™ Vasanthi hopes to find expression and fruition to her many years of interest and work in the field of education.
Dr Vasanthi’s vision is to establish OSMOSYS as the valued partner that enables individuals and organizations to develop and express their resource potential.

She hopes to do this by :

· Popularizing recent path – breaking psycho pedagogy in teachers, students, parents and others.
· Developing quality consciousness and technology based systems in educational institutions.
· Empowering individuals with knowledge and skills that enables them to transfer their learning and become   life-long learners.                             
· Unleashing entrepreneurial zeal in knowledge workers and building a Learning Products Distribution system.

In Osmosys, Vasanthi is ably assisted by a team of dedicated professionals, associates, collaborators and advisors who have rich experience in Teaching, Training and Educational Management and Quality Assurance.

Saraswathi Srinivasan:

A Senior Associate at Osmosys Learning Products and Services,. Saraswathi Srinivasan has been active in the field of education for over 15 years, first as a teacher and then as an Education Consultant. Saraswathi graduated with a degree in Economics and Political Science, acquired a Diploma in Business Management, and later took her postgraduate degree in Sociology and her B.Ed degree from Annamalai University.

Deeply committed to the cause of education she started her teaching career at Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School Chennai. Driven by a growing interest in Pedagogy and the need to bring fresh perspectives to the current Teaching – Learning environment she joined IL&FS Education and Technology Services as Manger-Education Services. Her work involved helping educational institutions to bring about integration of technology into the classrooms and empowering teachers with 21st century skills and attitudes.
With an abiding interest in human psychology, brain based and learner centric teaching learning systems, Saraswathi has been engaged in the following activities at Osmosys:

    • She has facilitated in the development of Whole Brain Development products.
    • She has also worked on the development of 9Smart – a programme based on Multiple Intelligences, produced by Osmosys for Aloha India.
    • She is currently engaged in the development of text books in Social Studies for Pearson India Pvt Ltd. 
    • She also does Student Profiling and Counseling.
    • Saraswathi will be engaged in Pedagogic Research, Counseling and running the Life Management Lab at the Academy for Personalized Learning Chennai.
 

Usha Ramachandaran, a masters degree holder in English, is a trained teacher of over 15 years standing. She has taught in prestigious schools in India and abroad in international schools.Usha has  also been actively involved with various language activities like debates, drama, English Club and workshops.  She has conducted‘Creative-Writing’ workshops for primary teachers and ‘Reading Programme’ for parents to inculcate the habit of reading in children.
As an Associate in Osmosys, Usha has been involved in text book development and in conducting English Language skill development workshops

 
 

Lakshmi Gopalan holds a masters degree in English and Education and also a post graduate diploma in the teaching of English from the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad.  Lakshmi has taught for over 25 years in various reputed schools in Sholapur and  Chennai. Besides teaching, Lakshmi has done very many interesting things like editing religious books and training students in medical transcription.
As an Osmosys Associate, Lakshmi has been involved in Developing and Review of Course material, teacher enrichment programmes and conducting workshops in life skill programmes.

 
Suchitra Ravi has a Post graduatge degree in History and Education. She also has an advanced dipoloma in the teaching of French as a foreign language. Suchitra has taught in schools in Chennai and in the Alliance Francaise for many years. She has been associated with Osmosys in the development of English Smart and text books.

 
Sandhya Shankar, a Maths graduate has over the decades naturalized into an English language trainer. She has been particularly successful in teaching spoken English to both youngsters and adults. Sandhya is a resource person for The Hindu's Newspaper In Education Initiative. She has been associated with Osmosys as a teacher trainer for teaching English language communication to teachers.
